Mrs. Lovett doll

Yay, the very first (and not the last, that's for sure) doll I've ever sculpted myself! I loved the movie version of mrs. Lovett, and decided to make a doll of her. My little Nellie is about 20 centimetres tall, with moveable arms and legs and glued-on clothes. Even though there are little errors on her (she can't stand with her own feet, she's real hard to pose, etc.), I'm quite proud.

Her head, torso, arms and lower part of legs are made of FIMO Puppen and painted with acrylics and soft pastels, coated with Game Workshop's Satin Varnish. Shoulders and upper part of legs are wire coated with foam plastic. And her hair is made of doll hair (surprise!). I also made her a little meat pie out of FIMO, with an itty-bitty toe poking out. : D

Yea, I know, her dress is not completely like any of her actual dresses in the movie, but I couldn't find real kind of fabrics... This one is made of black velvet, ribbons and laces. The hem of the dress is not seen in the pic, but it's decorated with same kind of fringed ribbon-thing than the back.

Humm, I think if I should make a Sweeney doll to go with her... It'd be cool to have them both standing on my desk, but it's a lot of work... Well, time will show. And the quality of the biggest photo is horrible, I promise to get a better soon.
